Engagement

Extensive collaboration between the Monklands Replacement Project team, the public, staff and partner organisations will culminate in the opening of Scotland’s most advanced hospital.

Engagement socials Monklands

Keeping the community informed and engaged

There’s been a huge programme of communications and engagement to keep the public and our staff informed about the project and to ensure they are active participants in the hospital plans.

To get the vital feedback we need, there have been community meetings and focus groups and we’ve also used a range of surveys.

“The collaboration between service users and staff in the planning of the new hospital has transformed our clinical model and will help to reshape how we deliver healthcare across the county. It’s an exciting time for us all.”

Collaboration

Throughout the planning process of the Monklands Replacement Project, public and patient representatives and clinical staff have collaborated to exchange ideas and thoughts, drawing on their own experiences and assisting with the design development process.

Collaborating with local schools, colleges, and businesses, the project team aims to establish education, training, and employment avenues. As the vision for the evolution of health services in Lanarkshire advances, the team will also seek insights from staff and patients to craft an appealing and inviting facility. This endeavour will continue over the upcoming months with a concerted effort to create a positive impact on the community.
